June 22 - 24, 2015 // Washington Marriott Wardman Park // Washington, DC
Will I have to re-register for L&C 2015?
No, but you will need to confirm your attendance. We will ask you to confirm your attendance via email next week, and at that time we'll roll over your registration information and fees to the rescheduled event. Alternatively, you'll also have the option to roll your registration over to a colleague.
Will the schedule change?
Because the event is now being held Monday through Wednesday, there have been some some minor schedule changes. Please see the updated program, which still features great speakers and allows for ample networking. Our new keynote lunch speaker is Michael Hayden, who is the Former Director of both the CIA and NSA. Hayden will brief delegates on the topic of cybersecurity as it relates to financial services. CLE credits will still be available.
How does this affect CLE credit?
We've confirmed that CLE accreditation has not been affected. This conference has been approved for the following CLE credits:
- 60-minute states--11 total credits, which includes 1.5 Ethics* credits
- 50-minute states--13.5 total credits, which includes 2 Ethics* credits
*Note: To receive Ethics credits you must attend the named session Wednesday, June 24th at 8:30 a.m., and scan in and with your badge.
Will new registrations be accepted?
Yes. For anyone who was not confirmed to attend the conference in Baltimore, information about registering for the rescheduled event will be available next week.
Where will the event be held?
A new location has been selected. The rescheduled conference will be in Washington, DC!
The new venue is:
Washington Marriott Wardman Park
2660 Woodley Road NW
Washington, DC, 20008
How can I book a room at the new venue?
Reservations at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park will open next week at the negotiated rate of $229 +taxes/fees. If you were staying at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, your hotel reservation was cancelled without penalty. You will, however, need to book your room for the DC location as reservations from the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront will not roll over.
